As part of the Ministry of Fisheries, Water Resources and National Assembly matters’ ongoing efforts to enhance it’s cyber security measures and safeguard its valuable data, the ministry on Wednesday 13 April 2023, organized a day long cyber security training session for its members.
The training was means to enhance staff understanding of how to protect the ministry’s data and other valuable information from the ministry and it’s line department.
Speaking at the occasion, the deputy director of the department of Fisheries Momodou Sidibeh underling the important of the training nothing that cyber security is everyone’s concern.
According to officials, cyber security has become an important aspect of every institution, and it is crucial that staff members are well informed about the latest threads and best practices to protect sensitive information.
